At about 2 weeks, we will send out messaging to those interested (in order of waitlist) to take holds on "pick". Holds are $100 and hold your place in line for a "pick".
If later in the process you decide not to purchase, you are able to be refunded the $100 for up to 90 days or can choose to leave the hold with us to roll over to reserve your place of "first pick" during an upcoming litter. After 90 days availability to refund your hold is forfeited. Roll-over hold is valid for 1 year.

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE?
Ultrasound to confirm pregnancy occurs approximately 30 days after insemination
Liters are born around 60 days after insemination
Week 1: The pups are just scooting around and still don’t have their vision or hearing. They are super susceptible to illness and infection right now so only Leo and I interact with them and we utilize precautions to lower risk (hand hygiene, gloves, etc.). We are only handling them to help them latch for feeding. Otherwise, Mama takes care of everything!
Week 2: We will send out messaging to the waitlist (in order) to take holds (see information above).
Week 3: This is when their eyes and ears will open. We can text/message photos and videos and facetime at this point. They will start to socialize with each other and Mom more.
Week 4: They will start to walk and explore and adjust to the world. We will start to expose them to different sounds and items to start to socialize them to the world. If you have interest in a specific dog, you could come view them but not handle them.
Week 6: They will start to display their personalities that will likely stick with them. They are less susceptible to illness and infection as well. This is when we allow perspective buyers to visit and interact with the pups (we have a visitation room where you can spend some time 1:1 with your pup of interest).
when can they go home?
We require that puppies remain at Springmeadow until at least 8 weeks of age. You are more than welcome to set up visits during this time to get to know your pup!
Do you spay/neuter
Spaying/Neutering is usually recommended around 6+ months of age, so you will have to speak with your veterinarian to determine next steps.
Pups will receive all required vaccinations prior to going to their 'furever home'.
